The second largest US pension fund buys more AMC, opened a position in marijuana grower Tilray, and trimmed its holdings of Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway according to its filings, and as reported by Barrons.
The California State Teachers’ Retirement System bought more shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings, as well as analytics-software firm Snowflake (SNOW), alongside cannabis producer Tilray (TLRY).
The retirement fund filed a 13F-HR form disclosing ownership of 689,917 shares of AMC, with total holdings valued at $26,258,000 USD as of 2021-09-30.
California State Teachers Retirement System had filed a previous 13F-HR on 2021-08-16 disclosing 556,405 shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc at a value of $31,537,000 USD, representing a change in shares of 24.00 percent and a change in value of -16.74 percent during the quarter.
